By eliminating the middle man broker there is more room for negotiation to get that boat sold to a buyer and more money left over for the seller. By selling it yourself you have a price advantage over every used boat out there that is being offered by a broker. This web site is about making boating more affordable at any budget. Even Donald Trump felt his yacht was way to expensive to maintain. Used boats represent the best values in boating. We are not some big corporate site that thinks a customer is something to maximize profit on. We are boaters just like you.
What are you doing to make sure my Ad gets seen?
Almost every dollar this site brings in will go to Advertising. Most will go to Google to purchase Ad words to drive people to this site. We know there are many boat sites out there. We have to advertise and have an attractive easy to use web site to be successful. So that is what we will do.
My search did not turn up any results...Why?
The database will only display what is in it. If a certain boat or location is not in the database you will not see it in the search engine. I also wanted to mention that the search engine is always on top so you can easily modify your search. We kept the search functions down to the basics for ease of use and size considerations.
How does the Featured Ad rotation work on the Admiral Ads?
If you choose the featured Ad rotation your Ads will randomly be placed on the Front Page. Also your Ads will be the first listed on Search Page results. This will really make sure your Ads get noticed first.
How does the compare feature work?
After you make a search you have the option to select up to 3 Ads by checking the little compare box of each Ad you find interesting. Then click the compare button on the bottom of the page. Up to 3 Ads are displayed side by side for easy comparison. (Nice)
If I create an Ad what does the Ad Manager do for me?
Once an Ad is created and you have your username and password you can login to the Ad Manager any time. You must click on the link in the upper right corner of the web site labeled Advertiser Login. You can update and change most every aspect of your Ad at any time. You can edit, preview, renew, change the price, remove or upload different pictures. View the number of times your Ad has been viewed. (Statistical Chart) Change your profile. (Contact Information). The Ad Manager is easy to use and keeps you in control.
